WANTED: Clematis

Hi all,

I did a couple of days down at Dave Watson's place last week and had a successful attempt at getting an ember with a hand drill.

But now I would like to keep up with some practice and don't have access to any Clematis.
Dave (and Duncan - who taught us) use Clematis as a Hearth and it worked well and it is what I was successful with. I've had a quick go using Lime as a hearth but not as easy yet.

I'd like to get hold of some Clematis just to iron out any technical issues before trying other Hearths.

If anyone can help I would be very greatful.

If you're coming to the moot there's loads around there
As long as you're considerate I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem

Sadly the moot is a bit far South for me to squeeze inbetween work etc.
