Expedition No 1

[Fat ferret]

Thought I would share my recent experiences in the wilderness. I gathered my kit together for the expedition just after lunch.
Wanting to travel light I took only my trusty garden fork and a kukri that was given to me recently,

when I was staying in the stunning mountains of Nepal,

whilst seeking refuge from SWMBO and therefore, disguised as a goat (sorry bad picture).

Anyway I headed if into the uncharted jungles at the bottom of my garden looking for lost treasures.

Who is a native to these parts. As we traveled we heard the cries of strange fowl and wild beasts.

After traveling for what seemed like days of slashing through the vegitation with my kukri I eventually came to the lost abbandoned tatty bed! I could see no man or woman had set foot here for a very long while.

There you go, new tatties for sunday dinner. Myself and my companion headed out of the garden gate and gave the spuds a wash. Heres a better look at the homemade kukri. The handle is not stained it is ash heartwood. I find this knife really useful for clearing brambles and such.
