Thread: Yew handled Polar 95

    Default Yew handled Polar 95

I was asked to make a simple working knife for a colleague recently. The only stipulation was that it had to have, "One of those stripy handles like you did on that bent knife."

This I took to mean a crooked knife that I handled with a piece of yew!

Anyway, here it is. What do you think?

I was going to give it a nordic type sheath, but I changed my mind and made it a 'hybrid' sort of sheath, complete with dangler and belt loop so that the new owner has a choice!

If I'd thought it through, I would have made sure that I had some chicargo, is that right or should it be chicago, rivets, so that the dangler could just be attached or detached as the mood takes the new owner!

    Anyway, what do you think?

"...That's right, Folks, don't touch that dial..."
