    Just for the record, my fav so far is swright's (post #13) minimal & symbolic......Mountainm's (post # 23) is pretty good too & looks straight foreward to carve......is it that one you like Hamish or the skull post # 25 ?

    they are all good but yeah im leaning towards the rustic skull approach in #25

    Well done Mike! Good comp Hamish, and very original too.

    Liked the tweaks that make it your own, and as for the beard, it's what I see too, not grass, but then first impressions always stick.

    Congrats mountainm................& well done for being able to read between the lines

    I enjoyed it too, & although I'm a little better aquainted with Norse & celtic designs, I 've still not understood Odin's relationship with goats !!!

    and the half goat thing was a nickname due to several goat like qualities and so i use as my leatherwork brand. and then it became my middle name

    let me know what you think. i think i prefer the brown one. looks like a cave/mud painting
