    Default Draw knife

    am looking for a good sold draw knife, i dont mind cleaning it up, puttting new handles on , I cant get out to car boots, so thats out, please let me know if you have one spare,

    Sorry but I don't have one i want to sell but they turn up quite often on Ebay.
    There's quite a food online place that sells secondhand drawknives but I can't remember the name of the place, I know they also sell billhooks if that's any help.

    Ray Iles might be worth a try for an older one.

    HERE it is, there's cheaper ones about but they can take time to find.

    Several on ebay at the moment, prices vary considerably.

    Thanks for the advice,some good links there, diff going to be a Ray Iles, good guy on ebay selling the large size, also got some nice crook knifes,

    +1 for TFSR Cymru. I was in there on Saturday picking up a Gilpin 'bill for a mate of mine. I asked about drawknives but their supply was at a show up in Aberstwyth or somewhere IIRC. They do a very good job refurbishing the tools, and their prices are very reasonable.
    Prepare for the worst. Hope for the best. Live somewhere inbetween.

    got to say.drawknife come this morning, very pleased, probly under half price of one simuler, if you need something these guys do, there works well worth a look
