    Found this whilst meandering through youtube. Neat little idea methinks!

    That is a technique which is taught on E & E training. It is amazing what you can do with a boot lace
    Improvise, adapt, overcome!!! OR Anything goes!!!

    This is why you dont let climbing ropes cross each other....
    If you embed sand in a bootlace (leather or synthetic) you can even use cord as a hacksaw on metal....

    word of warning, every stroke weakens your paracord. We use a similar technique to open up bails of hay and eventually the saw piece will wear through.
    If life is a roller coast, mine failed the Health & Safety checks.
