    Default World receiver & iPod?

I'm looking for a digital world receiver capable of receiving primarily AM frequencies, AND (if such exist) with something like an iPod in it. Not necessarily an iPod, but the option to put on my own music.

My Google Fu fails miserably: I've only found the iPod Nano, though this nifty device only has the FM frequencies. Interested in AM: primarily to listen to the BBC (or some dutch broadcasts, etc.) when I'm out, deep in the sticks - planning some expeditions for the near future.

Could go for an iPod and a separate world receiver, but if there's a combination out there - that might save some space in my pack and a hassle with different batteries / charging issues.

Well if you have phone signal obviously a smart phone will do all of that, through a radio ap eg "TuneIn Radio", for the iPhone works really well for me.
Outside phone signal areas I don't know, but if there isn't one there should be!
