Interested - also interested in a 'David and Goliath' type slingshot workshop as I had a go with one I made myself (still have it) but the safest place for anything to be seemed to be wherever I was aiming for!!
One day I might grow up - but I hope not

ive made a couple of traditional slingshots, they were never as reliable or acurate as even ur cheap modern slingshots. i personally wouldnt use one for hunting unless it was a survival situation, but theres nothing to stop u bringing it along i can always have a look at ur technique

Thanks - but references to my 'technique' might be overstating things a bit

I would be interested in both. Recently got a black widow catty and have been trying the traditional sling for the past couple of months. Mainly using the underhand technique, can't really get anywhere with overhand and over the head styles.
I would like to make my own catty to, so would be interested.

excellent idea, I would be very interested. I used to be a mean shot back in the 'teens, but made a fool of myself when I last displayed my 'awesome' skills.

It would be great to get some guidance and hone them thar skills.

Add me to your masterclass please. I bought a basic Milbro type frame off ebay a couple of years ago with black square section rubber bands, made my own leather pouch for it. Like Elines said the safest place for anyone standing nearby is directly in front of the target. Get terrible wrist shake holding the catty, so maybe I just need to harden the **** up.

Anyway, very interested in having some tutorails please.

We need a moving target too. Who can we volunteer? Someone hairy perhaps, light in his feet and a feral look about him?... if the twigs in his beard are any indication.

I'd happily volunteer but I need as much practice shooting the thing than running about a field dodging mint imperials. Besides I don't like mint imperials that much. Thanks for the sugggestion though
