what a great simple idea , I usually use gloves and point the handles out of the flame but what a great idea, will try it next time I'm out.

I just use a leatherman crunch vice grips as a pot handle. Seems to work for me and haven't found a pot it won't grip to. Like the idea of sticks though, bit more bushcrafty!
