Default White Rose Wood May Meet - Pic heavy

Many thanks again to Alex for finding the wood. :)

I arrived early Friday morning and had a fatboy's brekkie at the Super sausage Cafe then set up:

Once set up I had a quick brew and played with my new stove:

Thirst quenched, a walk around the wood found bluebells, ransoms and jack by the hedge:

Stuck up a communal tarp then put on the big boys:

    Others arrived and set up:

Alex gave Karl a cast iron pan, some work was needed to bring it back to life:

The popcorn was tried out in the pan:

Many thanks to all that attended, another great Meet.

    Cheers Gents,

The weather was kind to us, allowed us to set up and take down in the dry, only rained Friday night.

Identified a few trees to take down on the next Meet, Alex will bring the chainsaws, wedges and grenades, we just have to supply the brute force and ignorance bit.

Look out for the next Meet thread and get your names down.

    Great to see you again.

And on your recommendation, I had some chilli on my footlong hotdog and fries for brunch

It looks a wonderfully chilled meet Really hope I can make the next one, I'm feeling the call of the Super Sausage very badly after weekend home alone

It is far better to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission.

Thanks for sharing Martin. Was really hoping to get down there with Joseph Saturday afternoon for a night out but life conspired against me again. Will hopefully be free for the next one...
