    Default Scandinavians unite! - A new forum is born

    Yep, you saw it right; There now is an online place for outdoor- and woodsloving Scandinavians to come together;

    Nordic Woodsmanship & Skills

    I noticed Scandinavians all over the forums; here, in the USA and only the Fins have one to go to for themselves. How could it be that a place like Scandinavia, a unique piece of the earth and a true outdoorheaven was without? So now we have a place where we can relate to that unique enviroment, with it's unique challenges and with a unique mentallity.
    I hope we can create a place that is just as alive and friendly as this one.

    I'd certainly miss your posts Ron.

    Hope you wouldn't mind a wandering Brit looking in on your new forum from time to time...

    I altered the forum, broadened its horizons.
    It is now a place for anyone with an interest in the boreal forest belt, either living there or visiting it, ranging from Canada to Russia, since many circumstances are similar, like terrain, weather ands resources. Using your native language is allowed, but English remains to be prefered.
    The focus is and will remain traditional and/or natural.

    Looks good, handy for us English only speakers. I'm looking forward to seeing it develop.

    I hope it will and that more of the natives are willing to join, too.
