Thread: Any fellow Scout leaders?

    Default Any fellow Scout leaders?

    Hi All,

New to this site, wanted to introduce myself. My name is Martin, (Sockhead) Assistant Cub and Scout leader in West Yorkshire. I came back to scouting as a leader after a break from the movement of about 15 years (from active Scout to leader) and have fallen back into camping and bushcraft.

    I am here to learn!!!

Just remember if you've recently rejoined the organisation. We're not kids anymore and we break much easier than them ;-)
(or at least, I seem to!)

    Anyhow's welcome on board.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Explorer Leader myself, just moved "up" from the Scout section a couple of months ago.

Thanks Tim, I also forgot basics like a ten mile hike over the moors with the scouts is not the best place to break in new boots.
