    Default G'day folks ...

    Hi from sunny Queensland!
I manage a 50-townhouse complex in Capalaba, about 20 klms south east of Brisbane, and basically get paid to potter - which gives me far too much time to spend on bushcrafty stuff.
Love the forums - so much to learn.
Interesting to see what common skills are needed in both countries and what different skills are needed in both countries, given the climate and wildlife we have.
Also very interesting to watch the political scene - not sure about preppers and urban survivalists - I just enjoy wilderness camping and self sufficiency.
Anyhoo, as an ex-pat, I'm sure I'll enjoy your company ...

    Welcome to the forum Baldrum.

Sounds like a great job - Pottering and Bushcraft.

Plenty of folk here to talk about wilderness camping and self sufficiency.

    Cheers

Perhaps you could start a Thread about the differences In bushcraft from Oz and the UK such as Precautions for Local Wildlife etc...
