Brilliant photo of brilliant evening. Only person missing in photo is Mesquite. Nice to meet Swallow again and great to meet hellobayo, Mesquite and Sandsnakes. shame Tim_n and Hemdale were not there but maybe next time. Can't wait.

This is a link to the billy set i use, it will hold an Esbitt meths cooker and folding mug in the bottom with space for lots of other kit.

I do like the basic back pack. Looks like it will hold all you need for a couple of days out.

The canvas one is about 20 litres so its more of a day pack, you could do an over nighter if you have big pockets and are using very little kit. Hardcore!

The green one well i have done a 3 dayer using one, so its faily versatile.

    Hi chaps,

Straw pole. If i can organise a spot, who is for a night out? Idea would be keep it so that its our group members only, we would have to contribute some dosh to the owner to cover his insurance, but the rest would be free.

It would be at a site near the M40 and those with cars could arrange a pick up in london at suitable tube stations.

I'm sorry I missed this. Thanks for the invitation. Next time I hope. If you like real ale there's a brilliant pub in London Bridge called The Rake. It's small but with a massive range or real and craft ales. Have a good meet everyone!
