    Yes - some proper bargains to be had in Blacks at the moment. They also have Snugpak 'softie' jackets for good prices in the branch near my work (Bristol).

    MVP is moisture vapor permeable, basically breathable waterproofing fabric, the British military goretex is actually MVP, the older us army goretex is genuine goretex and is brilliant, but very warm.
    Im using a keela Munro at the moment, been very impressed with the breathablity so far.

    I have one- I like it. I wouldn't wear it up any mountains, or on multiday stuff- its too heavy and bulky (but not ridiculously so), but smashing for more static duties. It is on the warm side though, so not best for the height of summer, but generally, very happy with it.
