Thanks, Andy. Perhaps we could cut it into 8 segments, sew on Velcro & each take a piece home?

Andy: Thanks for sorting out the chute, you are a star. It will be a good thing to have if we are doing leatherwork next time.

Hey Andy, don't want to leave you hanging for cash, if you have a PayPal account mate, pm me the details and I'll get my share over to you ASAP.

Neumo, same again, if you would like some cash for sorting out the pre booking, let me know and pm me your PayPal details.

Don't like leaving people hanging for cash.

Add your name then. That's 11 people at £5 each (or is there P&P to cover)? Makes it simple anyway

Don't worry about the cash yet, we can sort it at the next meet. Do you want me to get some cheap rope too? 10mm?

I've got some rope you can have - it's Gelert utility rope. Strong enough but not great for making dog leads with, which was my initial reason for purchase. You can even tie knots in it...

Does it come in a sack Andy, if not I'll make a canvas one if you give me the dimensions, slightly bigger is always a better bet.

    It's this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayISA...#ht_795wt_1037

    Nowt comes w'it.

I'll let you know the dimensions Hugo.

Spandit, how much rope do you have? 20m?

May I suggest that we reduce or negate the contribution of the donors of said bag and rope?

I'll also include a shoulder strap for it to make it easy carry.
There are two ways of making it, easy way is just like a large pillow case with carry handle, other way is like the old style kit bag, that has a sewn in round bottom piece.
    Either way I'm not bothered.
I must say it looks to be a fine looking parachute for the money, no postage is a big bonus.

As per Widu, keep it simple, just a big old pillow case type bag would do the job admirably

Not sure how long the rope is, I'm happy to pay anyway and donate it. I've also got a blue rope but it's a bit battered

Defeat is not the worst of failures. Not to have tried is the true failure.
Failure is success if we learn from it.

I wonder what the dry cleaners would say if I did?

Regarding the 'chute, as generous as Loenja & hellobayo are, shall we restrict the benefactors to 11 to make the sums easier or hold out for one more & make it £4 each?
