In my ongoing quest to minimise all the kit i dont use and perfect the kit i like and use regurly my latest quest is my swannie, iv had it for years always use it but it has some annoying features, main one being the zip area, the zip never stays up the way it was stitched onto the wool at thw bottom of the zip coarsed a annoying bulge down the middle. So i changd it to a leather flap that prevents the cold and put in a button closure the realy cold days.

Im also thinking about doing something similar around the cuffs as when buttoned they are too tight around the wrist and theres a long gap for cold air to blow up.
