    Default Ulswater,two fells, a bit of canoe and some glamping,....PIC HEAVY,..

    hey folks,...

    Easter was planned by my mrs as a gentle glamp lakeside it ended up a little different,...the drive up, and the Met office report promised snow

    paddled into Pooley Bridge,...saw Joe Mceldry (the mrs told me who he was,..,..bought some bread,.went back to camp,...fell asleep thinking about Joe,..

    LOVE YOU JOE!!!!!

    this was parked at the side of us,....

    i must say,..sorry if it was you,..and blame the Jamesons,....

    you dint have to move that far away tho,...maybe pull a chair and share a story,..ah well,....

    i think maybe our nocturnsal declarations of our love for Joe may have gotten out of hand,...sorry mr Lanndy rooftent mann,.

    next day after a good breaky,..and lots of coffee.,,,,,

    next day we had a go at Arthurs pike..

    not massive but we have an 11 and 8 year old,...

    but we got there,...

    probably got looooaaaaads more photos, but its late......

    Went to Keswick too and bought some blackpudding??!!!! cant find the pictures,...but nowt rate good happened,..(who wants pictures of black pudding?,.

    Top stuff mate

    You're lass has the same look Carol gets when I get I drag up a hill now and then, they love it

    The new noo looks the mutts, we'll get a trip planned after May sometime.

    Great pics Stu,some very arty shots too.The weather looks nice and sunny on some of your pictures and yet we were in kendal which int far away and never saw any sun...huh.

    We are blessed that the wives/kids love the hills eh mate!!

    it was sunny thursday , but then that was it,....

    Typical!!we arrived friday.......
    No glamping mate..... we stayed at the sister in laws,good food,good beer and a nice log burner

    I've always liked Ulswater, nice lake the areas got far less charvers on massive boats that go nowhere than Windermere.

    i know!!,..we dont go up often enough, forgotten how nice it is,...

    cant describe some of the views,..the pictures dont do 10% justice ,...

    its like your eyes arent big enough to take in the views,...

    i cant stop looking at the maps, doing a recce for the next one already,.....love it...

    Its at lowther just out side penrith. I have used that camp site you was on a few times to laurch my boat. Getting rid of the van this year I think.
