Heading off to marmaris in turkey for a week soon and would like anyones opinion on what to do while im there, what to see and any bargains to be had?

Go to Icmeler,some nice wee shops and beachfront.
marmaris is too busy for me these days.
Jeep safaris are good fun,prepare to be wet.
Day cruises are nice too.
Good deals on leather wear to be had.
Don't try and do the coach trip to Ephasus,far too long, needs an overnighter.
Pammakule,was an ok trip,plenty Roman things to see.

Remember if you're drinking raki that it is not a shot over there and sip it
Also it has a delayed reaction.... You REALLY don't want to find that out the hard way!
A Turkish shave is good, and the aftershave stuff they use smells strangely like parma violets which is pretty cool.
Take English money as well, you tend to be able to barter a bit better in the markets etc. the currency when we were there last year just seemed to be MONEY any kind no matter what
