Before I began using traser glowrings I used a few glow in the dark beads I nicked from my daughters bead kit. I find the traser glowrings a lot better.

2p each about 7 different colours!

they are in the art & craft section of a department store in norwich called "Jarrolds".

i chose standard round beads but they do hearts, stars, and oblongs too!

i found them by chance when making a necklace with my 2 year old son for my wife(she loved it) whilst picking "nice colours" i noticed some had that pale lime colour i associate with luminous things, so i put some in my hand and took a look!
like jewels they were, presious jewels! :-D

do you know it's quite nice to see how simular "bushcrafter's" kits are!

i used to go on a US "Survival" site, and it was all "BOB's","spare ammo", "more ammo" and "spare more ammo"!

Where do you get the luminous beads ?
If you have a fishing shop near you, Most of them do beads for carp /sea fishing. Packs of 50 for about £1.00

There's a site here I've found quickly for you, but I'm sure there are lots more on the web

    http://www.ishop.co.uk/ishop/1019/shopscr58.html :-D
