Default Result!! Free cast iron pan!

Mentioned to my father I was looking for a cast iron frying pan to use on the campfire (because Hugo is fed up of me using his!). He had an old 10" one in the garage - not too heavy (wooden handle) & with a bit of wire wool & some seasoning it'll be a good un!

Also got a ridge tent, wool blanket & the sewing machine thrown in for the same price of nothing!

I got a big box of leather from a mate having a clear out. Free stuff is good.

Tengu, I think his dad was glad to get rid of him as well as the junk the way he treats frying pans, I have discovered I have a large crack on the handle on mine and I am putting the blame squarely on his shoulders.
What with all the lard that I have to scrape off every time he uses it there is no way it will ever rust.

I take that as a slant on my ability to handle my projects.
May you get a cold shoulder in your hammock.
