    Ludicrously over excited about this meet! If I can get permission from HWMBO, I will outstay my welcome during the midweek too but I don't know if I can earn that many brownie points. Perhaps if I'm an awful cow to him, he'll tell me not to come back after the 1st weekend

    It is far better to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission.

    for those that missed it first time around...

    fee update for the upcoming meet

    having been in discussion with Gordon and Robert at Middleton Farm, we have thrashed out a few concessions for our members.

    there are a potential 9 nights available here, basically this is what its come down to;

    anyone staying over 4 consecutive nights, will pay £20 in total this will include free entry into the festivities and 1 hog roast portion

    anyone staying up to 4 consecutive nights will pay £15 in total this will include free entry into the festivities and 1 hog roast portion.

    in all cases if you want entry into the bikers rock bands, a donation would be appreciated, i leave that to your discretion, be sensible

    if you want more food, its chargeable.
    if you attend the bar, its chargeable, a local landlord will be running this at normal prices.
    minors attending free, with normal parental discretion re bar and band adult content

    so, in conclusion;

    if you stop for the whole 9 nights its only going to cost you just £20
    anything else its only going to cost you just £15

    i think you'll agree, this is very good value. original post will be updated to show new fees.

    if you havn't already, please indicate what dates you intend to stay in main thread

    had a wander down to NW today,

    access is a bit 'mushy' at the moment, lets hope it dries a bit for our dates. its all looking very lush in there you wouldnt recognise our old pitches! chatting to Robert it seems they have a corporate entertainment firm on board, (not the one thats based there) amongst the various attractions there are archery and air rifles ranges which might please some of the gang but i will also accommodate anyone who wants to plink or use a bow at our meet in a safe and secluded area.

    been giving our involvement a bit of thought, in order for us to have a gander down the farm ourselves, we need to offer any visitors a window to visit the primitives demonstrating otherwise were stuck there all day and will miss out. they can of course wander in at any time, but i think we need to gear our demo's to suit us too. so...10 till 1 ? 1 to 3? etc, whats your thoughts?

    Spinning is something that I'll just do as and when if you don't mind.... probably quite a lot as it involves sitting on my backside, doing little more work than a gentle foot tapping I'm happy to take a share in fire and camp watch duties, not onne for the madding crowds at the moment, just wanna be in NorthWood and enjoying you bush bros company mostly!
