if you pm me your e mail I will send you details.

Shall we say meet at 10am, I guess most will want to stay the night so it will give you time to have a walk around, pick a suitable spot and gather a bit of firewood.

Just need to finalise the date, does the weather bother anyone, it does get a bit sticky when wet.

Everything sounds great - thanks treebloke. The 5th & 6th May is the only one of the two I can make. Is this one ok for others?

We have 50 acres so not a massive wood but plenty room for our group I think. PM me your e mail and I will send you a few details.

Is there a water source nearby or do we need to bring enough to last?

Im going to use the brook for water. Lets see what the explorer canteen is really made of. Ive only used it on days out so far. Pretty long days like. But also reasonable water supplies where barring dead creatures youd be pretty safe anyway.

There is also a spring which I have had a small drink on a hot day and so far do not glow in the dark.

There is a track across the field from the highway to the entrance of the wood, beside the track is an area of woodchip wide enough to park a car or if you prefer you can park just inside the wood, I will meet you there and you can decide on the day. I will be in a Land Rover so can ferry anything you bring which is to heavy to carry.

Cheers Bob. Usually just the beer that's too heavy to carry

Just putting my name down as a hopeful. Hopeful that the wife will be away by then.

Sounds great (except for the insects, but they can't be as bad as at North Wood).

Is everyone else still on for next weekend, it is very wet in the wood at the moment but who knows what next week will bring, probably more rain.

You need a wild garlic, clover, cumfry and squirrel casserole with brown trout for desert.

We have a badger sett in the wood and with a bushcam on a tree watching what goes on, in the last week we have been visted by obviously badgers with three cubs, deer, fox, pheasant and wild turkey.
