I am on the Worcestershire/Staffordshire/shropshire border area when at home so would be up for it, or you may want to come across to the North Wood or Rough close meets which are in Tamworth/Coventry area as well there are a few of us around, if you look in the Midlands section of meets you'll find us in there.

I'm in Bangor on Dee, just south of Wrexham. Depending on work, family etc, I'd be up for a meet.

I have a small wood just outside Bridgnorth which is 38 acres mixed woodland and 12 acres grass, it has a brook with brown trout, natural spring which flows all year, badger set, occaisional deer, plenty firewood and lots of wild garlic at the moment.

If anyone would like a bit of wild camping/meet let me know.

Well we are up to three so I think that's enough to make a start, what about April some time, the garlic will be rampant by then so at least there will be some thing to eat.

Sounds good to me. What sort of set ups are you thinking? Tipi and stove? Or hammock and tarp?

April sounds good! I've just got myself a tarp so I'd like to give it an outing, but I'd be happy to go with the flow. Treebloke - are fires permitted in your woodland?

I realy think if you catch you should cook it for the rest of us, I can light the fire.

Northwood is on 27th to 29th so that wouldn't be possible for me. Best for the rest of you come up with a date and I'll come along if possible that weekend. Fairly sure I could at least manage a Saturday through to Sunday.

I just wondered with it being a week since tree bloke said anything about it.

It looks like there's quite a bit of interest in this meet, so it would be a shame if it fizzled out. I'm keen to try out some of the new kit I've got!

I gather that treebloke's got a small business to run so that probably accounts for why he's not been on this thread for a bit.

True, please bear with me, I start work at 7am and finish around 6pm. I will try and put forward a few dates tomorrow.
