My mate's got one Robbi, if you ditch the heavy duty steel pegs it tumbles down to 1kg
It's inner pitch first which can sometimes be a pain if it's honking it down, not much room other than to lie down in so he packs a small tarp for an admin area. The vestibule is fairly generous though, big enough to swallow a Sabre 75 and a pair of boots, probably a bit too low to think about cooking in though.
I think they're great value, if I didn't have 4 one man tents already I'd have prolly got one![]()
Yip i had one they do the job but are small and it packs down very small ,you can just about get your gear on and of if its chucking it down ,and as Shewie says ditch the pegs for ally ones
shop about i got mine for 20 quid and for that if it last you a season back packing you cant grumble

Midges are our friends
and remember midges smell your fear...................
I bought one for my daughter and I spent a night in it as a test. I'm 6ft tall and there was just about enough room when laying down. It lashed down with rain all night and in the morning it was a little damp on the inside so I sprayed some nikwax tent proofer to add a little exa water repellency and as shewie mentioned, ditched the steel pegs for some titanium ones.
For the money I think it's a great little tent and would use it myself again no problem.
