Default Scrumpy's BIRTHDAY BASH picture Heavy

Thanks go to Alex again, a great Meet.

    My Set Up:

Didn't need the stove, was warm enough without.

Some dead standing needed clearing out:

    Added to the woodpile:

And Alex provided the evening meal with freshly shot Rabbit and a nice bit of venison:

Day two saw more prep of wood for the winter months:

And a bit of spoon carving:

Oh, and a bigger tree needed to be dropped as well:

What to do with the stump?

Alex also made an Apple and raisin crumble:

    Thanks to all that attended.

The rabbit was a bit chewy but the venison was absolutely melt in the mouth, the Charlotte spuds were pretty nice as well.
All in all a pretty good meet, see you all again next month!

Whoot! I managed to avoid every picture!

Great time for the half I was about for, glad I missed the near demise of our tent though...

Ahem. That does appear to be a gentleman operating a chainsaw without a stitch of protective kevlar on his person... :O

Rain last night aswell. Next month, MUSHROOMS!

    Top meet again, thanks chaps.

I believe Alex was sporting his usual kevlar budgie smugglers under the trousers.
    Cheers
