    Default Auger with leather sheath

This is a hardly-used auger with leather sheath, bought here - I think it's a Dougster special?

Auger is by Morrisons of Sheffield, dated 1958 with a crows foot so I assume it's ex-military. Pristine condition, clearly had almost zero use (I've only ever made one hole with it). Pretty much identical to the one you'll see Ray using for birch-tapping in his videos.

Whole thing is 260mm long, auger section is 130mm, approx 25mm diameter. The eye is approx 23mm.

It comes with a lovely custom-made leather sheath. These things can be fearsomely expensive, yours for £25 posted. SOLD SOLD SOLD
