Any ideas how to keep the baby in for a month after its due date? Pff. Can't believe she decides to bear children the year I convince her to come to the moot!

Does anyone know how to build a birthing pool from logs?

Right, it's on. Got me a full membership now, the wife's actually excited and the little 'un will only be 16 months old so he has no choice. This'll be our first bush-moot. Can't wait!

My eldest was 9 when we went last year. Basically he hooked up with a squad of new mates almost immediately and we only saw him at meal times and bedtime. He can't wait to get back.

Hoping to get lots of time off this August to join in for the first time! Hope it all pans out. Can I make the decision a little later on in the year?

I'll have tickets up for sale in the next few days, there's a number of options because it's so long this year, here's how the costing will break down (see below)

FM's can come a day before and leave a day after anyone else, these days are Monday 30th July through to Sat 11th August 13 days in total, tickets are already for sale in the Full Member area.

Full event 30th July to the 11th Aug 2012 Adults £155, youth £75 and Children £20

    Shorter event for non FM's 31st July - 10th Aug Adults £135, Youth £65 and Children £20

Thursday 2nd to Thursday 9th August Adults £110, Youth £55 and Children £15 (this was the FM period last year)

Just the main workshop and Traders day Friday 3rd - Wed 8th August Adults £85, Youth £40 and Children £15 (this was the period of the Moot last year at the same price)

Day visitors £30 between the 4th and 7th August and £12.50 all the other days.

Anyone that wants to jump in now before we get the page up for tickets can work out how much and paypal the money to Shelly via shop@bushcraftuk.com with a note of who's coming , what period etc. You can also move dates round if you need to, just let Shelly know what you want and she'll help where she can.

Erm - I used to make harnesses that stop sheep giving birth too early .....
As to the birthing pool/jacuzzi - easy peasy!
A wall of logs with a large tarp draped to form a liner ... then let the rain fill it!

Get the bubbles going by feeding the people in the naughty corner nothing but baked beans for two days - then stick them all in one corner of the pool. Also, put up a sign saying "No naked flames".
