Aberdeen is a single barb long shank hook, designed for worm baits. (as in the link I put up)
With a flounder spoon, you cast it out, let it settle, pull swiftly (so the spoon kicks up sand) let it settle, pull swiftly, repeat. The kicks of sand attract flounder, and then the beads/bait draw them in. Your spinner would be the best of both worlds if you could change the hook! Using it as a flounder spoon, a treble hook would just snag everything.
Hope this was of some help
