I was doing a bit of beach combing yesterday when an idea struck me.
This is the result of a bit of messing around. The shell was nibbled with some end clippers, shaped with a belt sander and then drilled. All easy enough to do without power tools but I just wanted to quickly test the idea.
I pulled apart an old spinner for a couple of the components, mainly the clevis and the three pronged hook.
The wire is from a reel of stainless steel from Clas Olsen, most of the beads are glass, apart from the green ones which are luminous plastic.
I have a few other shells which I'll experiment with later but I want to find a better source for the components I need first.
