    Default Bird sign.

Saw this little midden of snail shells from where a bird (perhaps thrush or blackbird) has been using the stone as an anvil to break them open.

Think it'd be safe to call it a Song Thrush and anvil.
For a' that, an a' that,
It's comin' yet for a that,
That man tae man the world o'er
Shall brithers be for a' that. R.B. 1759-96

If it is Thrush then it's good to know. I certainly don't see them with any regularity these days.
