What make of axe is this

Does anyone know this makers mark on this axe. Made in England stamped on the other side.
It looks like a triangle S. It seems good steel, very sharp
what do you think.

after Elwell but before Spear and Jackson.

Spearwell was the company formed when Spear & Jackson amalgamated with/bought over Elwell. They then went back to the S&J name.
