From a purely gamers point of view, no side tracks about the guy himself, or his achievements and tragedies. That looks pap.

oh well, on level one you get his standard gerber "ultimate" knife, on level 5 if you find the leprechauns lair you can aquire a ninja katana, but, on level 10 when you fight Grizzly adams you can get his lightsaber..... its all so realistic.

Dont really see how playing a game and fighting bears will teach me how to survive in britain, but it might be okay for those night with nothing to do...

I hear you get his 'ultimate survival knife' free if you get a 5 coupons from your cereal boxes

Not played it but read the reviews and it's said to be as crap as it looks.. but we knew that already.

I'm particulalry looking forward to the section on the wii version where you have to bow drill like mad until you sweat like a pig with your wii-mote.... only to discover you dripped on your own coal. Or the bit where you get your fire going but it burns all the tinder you collected before the flame takes to the kindling. Or how about the bit where you got your hammock hang slightly wrong and wake up grumpy in the morning?

    Other good sections include.
Assembling a honey stove with frozen fingers.
Getting back into your sleeping bag in the hammock (side zip, mummy bag)
and eating enough biscuits brown to see you until you get home to your throne.

the modelsarent very good, the movement iswrsé and the gameplay looks boring, and purely making thispoint isnt a guy like bear grills supposed to be encouraging people to go outside not to play video games
Defeat is not the worst of failures. Not to have tried is the true failure.
Failure is success if we learn from it.
