Sleeping bag advice: synthetic, small pack size, center zip & green for £100+

I have been reading lots of threads on sleeping bags as I want to get a new one but can not quite find what I am looking for, so would like some advice please.

I am after a new sleeping bag with the following spec:
- 3 season, so from 0 degrees comfort ?
(will get a down one next winter)
- synthetic fill
- packs smallish i.e 10"x4" not the larger 12"x12" ones
- has a central zip (for hammocks)
- Is preferably in Olive green
- I want to spend around £80 to £150ish

I have seen lots of interesting ones that are too big, i.e not much smaller than my 58 pattern bag I use now. Apologies for another sleeping bag thread....

You'll struggle to find a 3 season synthetic bag at that pack size

It doesn't look a bad bag for the money. Down filled and packs down small and is ok down to 1°C. Ok its not a centre zip, but I've seen very few other than military ones.
I've been looking and in your budget you'll be hard pressed to find a synthetic bag that warm that packs as small as you want.
I've bought a fair amount of their Quechua brand and while its not top of the range, it is very functional, very well designed, relatively well made for Chinese copies of top brands. My day pack is still fine after 3 years of hiking, my breathable waterproof jacket is great, and as good as any jacket costs twice as much.
I think to get a bag of a better spec and pack size you'd have to spend way more money.

Thanks for the answers. If it is hard to find one with the specs I want then I may have to go for a down one to stay small or go larger for a synthetic. Cheers for the replies.

I have a Crux bag that packs smaller than you are asking for, works through three seasons and comes in a nice grey/black colour, however I think they sell for about twice what you want to pay.

I was trying to help, you could have used the links to draw up a short list and then asked for help. The Snugpak green centre zip fits your criteria to a T.

Wayne is right. Also synthetic loses its loft and warmth after a few years as has happened to my Snugpak. My down bags go on and on, pack really small, and stay perfectly dry in a small lightweight drybag instead of the stuff sac. Take along a lightweight bivi bag just in case and you are covered for all occasions.

Down is a lot more expensive Wayne but I agree its wonderful in use. I'd not winter camp without a down jacket these days, me old bones feel the cold Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr
