Seems pointless. Beer flavoured / coloured water. ?

Unless the stuff is intended as a practical joke of course. Chortle chortle...

My german wasn't up to it but google translated it's first hit as
"Alcohol in the bag gives it not only now, but are already enough!
This beer powder does not need to be dissolved only in a glass water and already has one a looking wonderful beer - more in addition,!
Since this Gesoeff looks like genuine beer, but, is suitable it tastes simply disgusting particularly well, around others for annoying!
    Sufficiently for several glasses "beer"
Do not use please in restaurants!"

and another "One gives approx. a 1/2 teeloeffel of the powder to a bierglas, fills this to approx. 3 to cm under the edge with water on which a looking absolutely genuine "beer" develops. It even forms a picture-beautiful schaumkrone!
The beer imitation is enjoyable and innocuous, tastes however more after seawater. Contents are enough for approx."

And when you click on the piccie, in close up it says on the packet "Joke Artical".

So it's not for actuall genuine drinking then. Practical japes only....

I don't know about this particular product (looks like a joke) but "alcohol powder" is theoretically possible. It involves making a crystalline derivative of ethanol, which reverts back into ethanol, when it comes in contact with water.

Got the missus to have a look, it is definitely a joke thing, Gesoeff basically means a rank drink, Teeloeffel means teaspoon, schaumkrone means the froth or head on top of a beer!

So, fill a glass with water, chuck some of this stuff in and wait for your mate to come back from the toilet, "There's your pint Dave!", "Oh, Cheers mate!" and hilarity will prevail! Who said the Germans haven't got a sense of humour!!
