Sales feedback?

I think we should introduce a sale feedback thingy like the one over on BB.

I appreciate that only full members can start threads in the sales forum, but anyone can reply and as such there is no guarantee that things will go smoothly.

A few feedback points might made things easier.

It would also be handy to have a 'For Sale/Sold/Traded' edit, again as over on BB, makes it a lot easier and folks don't end up wasting time.

I definitely think it is a good idea.

I'm in the process of having a deal go sour, - could all be perfectly honest of course however a point system would avert any issues.

I am a bit disappointed to see no mod response to this.

I'm not a member yet but I have read posts where people said they have not recieved payment or swap item. Very dissheartening as this is such a great place with good people. Feedback of some sort would be very benificial IMHO.

Do you mean the rep system generally or itrader which is a rep system specifically for those trading? I need to overhaul the whole trading side of things on bcuk and this is a consideration for when that happens.

The mods would refer it to me and i've not been about much which is why there would be no comments on this thread

Personally, I think the itrader would be a good idea Tony. Hopefully a few more members will come along and give their ideas on this subject or perhaps post a poll, which would give you some more insight into what may work for the future.

Cheers Tony - I mean an itrader type thing yes. - General rep points get out of hand and don't work on forums I've seen using them.

It would be beneficial I reckon.

Yep I like the idea of a trader specific rep thing( can you tell I'm not technical) and to echo Andy, a general rep system seems to get silly.

Another option is to have a feedback section.

This was used on another forum I use. - you simple had a thread about a particular person and members left feedback comments.

Only thing I can see with that is it make get a bit confusing.
