Fair locations

I have been a bit interested at getting to a country fair or some sort of reenactment show whilst I'm in UK this summer. I've been to similar things in Germany but on a small scale. I was very interested in going to Austria where they do a sort of course for neolithic tool making, fire lighting and bow making, maybe when the kids are a bit older.

Does anybody know of any fairs or some sort of re-encatment displays that would be of a bushcraft nature that are in the north of england between 5-13 of August? I've tried a search on tinternet, but the sheer scale of results is bewildering!!

Any ideas would be great, if you have a link to a site, that would also be cool

Dark age re-enactment events with living history show lots of bushcrafty stuff - i know i am a dark age re-enactor hehehe
