So this paracord wrapped Guycep Necker is due for a refurb very shortly.



Choices, choices though.

I want to go a little bit different this time.

The inner material is going to be Cocobolo.

I'm unsure on what to use for the outer. I'm thinking that going with Carbon Fibre again could work well as an interesting contrast.

The other thought that is playing in my head a bit is this Black Ash;

I have nothing against man made handle materials, but they just don't honk my hooter the same as naturals.

Micarta and CF could work nicely though...

the cord looks badass, i guess its not as comfy as a full handle though?

no, a cord wrap isn't comfy long term.

if i make a knife from an old file and/or scissor blade is there anywhere i can learn to wrap the cord like that? don't want it looking like a prison shank..
