Default what i carry when out trailing birds and wildlife

i cant carry a lot of weight so everything has a purpose or it stays at home.
i remove most labels and modify everything how i like it.

lowe pro flipside 400 camera rucksack with long lens case to carry a flask.while its better to have most stuff in your pack a cant risk fluids near my camera.

pouch on the belt for snacks and peanuts for the birds

old style sigg oval bottle which sits flat [bought from this site a few days ago]the cork is secure even upside down and the taste is neutral.best thing i bought in years.fits in elastic side pouch.

karrimor folding sit may weighs nothing plus plastic bags in the tripod holder compartment

snugpak softie lite [a new favourite],superb lots of pockets /warm easy fits to the straps on top of my bag

issue water bottle pouch on my belt holds light bungees and tarp with ease.

outside pocket, mini survival kit memory card pouch, notebook, pen lens cleaning kit.keys with leatherman always attached.led lenser ps3,enzo trapper.hat ,gloves.

issue CWC diver 200m clean clear and simple low profile fits under shirt cuffs.

Giotto's monopod doubles as a walking stick essential when holding steady so as not to disturb a nervous bird etc.

main compartment nikon binoculars no strap in my bag or being used wonderful bright view.nikon D3s + nikon 300m F4 with 1.4 tc
other lens as necessary.lumix lx3 to take these photos.

shoulder straps have grimlock karabiners and nit ize karabiners to hold my camera by the twin wrist straps [made myself] on my chest, this balances out the pack well.

this pack opens from the rear so you can lay it down with ease it works.it has a foldaway waterproof cover.
