Thread: Bushman2 with OD Micarta and Brass

Default Bushman2 with OD Micarta and Brass

Made this today for a young chap who wanted a Christmas prezzie for his Dad and asked me to make a blade....

I've also updated my logo this week to reflect the name and where it is made

No specs for the blade.....just make a knife....so I thought I'd mix some brass and dark olive drab micarta up to see what the end result could be.....
Obviously if the grip is shaped differently the results will vary quite a bit

The sheath is obviously Kydex, tried to keep all lines curved, no straight bits, hence the fancy / curvy belt loop

    Hope you like.....
PS - any black marks on the blade is black dust is from the new sheath.

Very nice,i like the mix of brass and micarta!
When it's freezing cold outside, doesn't the brass feel a little uncomfortable?

That's awesome! Do you have any problem with the micarta separating from the brass?
