cheers dave. ive had it out and looked at it but not had a chance to hang it yet, might be looking for advice/sarky comments in equal measure at the meet tho i should have had a chance to get it sussed by then

From the DD site

Features include two waterproof base layers so if needed (no trees) it can be set up on the ground as a basic bivi/tent, see pictures.

So, it's designed/supposed to be

Here's mine in use at RC:

Not as a bivi as you have not top protection, but for ground dwelling it does work.

Not me. I'm off to the woods for some peace and quiet and the temptation to spend money I haven't got is overwhelming at the Outdoors show normally...
