    Default Winter foraging?

Anything worth foraging at the mo... for those that aren't suffering a good covering of snow!
Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!

There are still edible fungi around, I suppose. Jelly ear, and that sort of thing. There are probably some sloes in a few sheltered spots, and I've seen some rose hips in reasonable condition recently. Not a lot about though really, at least that I can think of. I suppose some of the later apple varieties might still be around, and if you get a windy day, you might get some pine nuts from cones (I have a Stone Pine near me, which is the species to look out for).

I suspect 'foraging' for squirrel would probably be more productive.
Stupidity got us into this mess. Why can't it get us out?

I was reading its a good time to source hazel sticks for walking sticks, (it said as the sap has went to the ground) maybe not a food forrage, but a forage nonetheless
The things that come to those who wait will be the things left by those who got there first.
