Looks like a Shaggy Parasol (Pholiota Squarrosa) according to the Collins, Poisonous, I could be wrong.
Anyone?
Edit. Then again it looks more like a Stinking Parasol (Lepiota Cristata ) Still poisonous .

The Wilderness is to big to fight. Yet for those of us who'll take advantage of what it offers, nature will furnish every necessity

Lucan,
Firstly you've got your names mixed up. Shaggy parasol = Macrolepiota rhacodes. Shaggy pholiota (or "scalycap") = Pholiota squarrosa. The former is edible with caution (causes some people upsets) the latter is poisonous/inedible. Secondly, this mushroom isn't either of those, and neither is it Lepiota cristata, which is smaller than this.
It is Macrolepiota procera. Edible (excellent).
