Default More Spitewinter pics - better late than never

It has taken me a few days to work out how to post the pictures - to help me and others how to do it from Picasa see Test foruk/Elines test picture post/post 25

    http://www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/sho...860#post704860

Anyway here are some more pics:

At the feet of the chef

    Martin prepares breakfast

    Tinkypete finishes it off

    Shaggysstu's Bannock

    Shaggystu's improvised oven for bannock

    Cooked bannock

    Shaggysstu decants the bannock

The two chefs exchange professional banter

    Martin prepares the evening meal

Martin tests if it is done

The picture doesn't do the flavour justice - it was gorgeous

cheers mate, it's pretty much the recipe from your website as it happens, although on that occasion there was no suet in the mix. the billy is actually and old stainless pan from the kitchen that the handle broke off, i actually took the lid from a different pan because it fit better uside down. a bit of hard won advice, if you ever do the same thing, wait until your significant other is looking the other way! the explaination as to why it has to be that particular lid and not the one it came with can take days and days and days and days, bless her.

    cheers
