    Default sass tarp

anyone used one of the SASS tarps? I'm after a lighterweight one for sneaky overnights and they seam a good alternative to the Aussie Hootchie.

Yes/no or should I just get a Aussie one?

Is the Web-tex one also worth looking at?

I imported the Aus hootchie from Kitbag.au Ed, worked out a lot cheaper (including postage) than the ones over here.

So did I. Only £36 if the excisemen don't get you. Spent my firtst night in it over the weekend and loved it. I like the auscam pattern - works in the woods and isn't too military looking in this country. Also, it is slightly wider and about a foot longer than the SASS tarp.
Use what talents you possess: the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best.

Is it this one you are talkingabout ? http://www.sasskit.co.uk/product.php?id=60 or is it this one http://www.sasskit.co.uk/product.php?id=65

i would stay well away from a Web-tex one http://www.web-tex.co.uk/accessories...prod_1215.html over priced and poor quality

    the camo one.

The Aussie one is looking a better option - as has been said blends in but not too military to UK eyes.

I've used an SASS basha, (not the current version).
The version I had was very well made it had all the normal fixtures but they were PLCE type webbing so REALLY strong! it also had poppers to join to another basha, and MoD spec D-rings on the corners, all in all it was bombproof and much better colour than the Issue type.

Basically if SASS have made it...It's good! just my 2p!
