Still dont know if I'll be able to make it or not

Current plan if I can get away is to come down to Bridgend by train (from Manchester) on Sat morning. Walk to the site and then have to go back the same way on Sunday. Bummer. But at least I may be able to get one night in. Oh, well better luck for the next one I suppose.

If I make it down it will be nice to put faces to the people on the site. If not hope you all have a great weekend.

If you get there give me a call and I'll get you picked up, that would save you some time. It's a shame as I'm coming from Chorley today...

Yggdraggsil (or whatever), Weekend_Warrior and I will also be at the station at 16:06. I think the plan is to walk; thus far. It's only about 2 miles - assuming we don't get lost...

i'm going to be there a little later than planned. the forth rail bridge is closed so all the trains are screwed up. i should be at bridgend around 1800.
If the thought of something makes me giggle for longer than 15 seconds, I am to assume that I am not allowed to do it.

Finally got me other half to agree to let me take the camera. BIG memory card so lots of potential for pics and I have a load of spare web space so if any of you see me wandering about with a camera feel free to jump in front of it. I'll be posting all of them when I get home.

If I can get away from work in time I'll pick you guys up from the station at 16.06 but since I work for the NHS I can't promise. I don't think it'll be hard to work out who's going to the moot. Just don't practise your axe skills or sharpen your knives at the station or you'll be meeting Heddlu De Cymru rather than BCUK.

Thank you, that would be great! There is no way I will be walking with all the kit I am bringing. Not with the speed you guys move at! Slow and steady, thats me!

    Sorry guys,
Got up at 5:30 this morning to come an join you, headed to car and just as I was loading my pack into the boot a nose bleed starts. No big deal me thinks, I've had them ever since I can remember and it's nothing unusual when I've got a cold which I have, 10 minutes and I'll be on my way. Well, how wrong can you get! several hours later and it finally seems to have stopped, hadn't better sneeze though Havn't had one like this for years.
Hope you guys are having fun but I think my nose is telling me it's not a bushcrafting weekend for me.
    Cheers
    David
