    Default English Tweed info anybody?

I have aquired 3 rolls of 100% wool tweed fabric from circa 1970.

all rolls are 1500mm wide, from top to bottom in the group photo lengths are 1800mm, 2400mm and 1700mm.

Is ebay the best place to move this material on?
Maybe I should put it up for trade.

    Cheers

The last one would make a nice "bushcraft shirt", or lining for something. But check the local tailor, they may be willing to pay for it.

I think it would be hard to make a full suit out of 2400 mm (take into account weave direction and pattern matching) . Maybe if you go with breeches. Tweed jacket would be nice though.

I think a tailor would be foolish if he bought NOS fabric from the 70s, a bespoke tailors customers wouldn't want to skimp on anything as important as the fabric, considering the cost and effort they put in their products.

I say use it instead, or swap it here.
