Good link. I just tried it using 'Don't Forget the Duct tape' as an example, and £4.90 is pretty good including postage. One of the advantages of search engines like these is that they include shipping, which is a bit of a grey area in the case of Abebooks.

The one I've used for years is http://www.addall.com, which is a US based site (so you have to tell it where you want to ship and the currency). When I did the same test, the price was about the same, although the Amazon price was a penny cheaper, and the Abebooks price 19p more.

The cheapest was just a penny plus postage, but this was the old edition.

In reality, Amazon is pretty much always going to be cheapest, especially if you look at new and used. Its possible to get new and used books in hardback from the States for much cheaper than they are in paperback here.

I always use http://www.dvdpricecheck.co.uk/ for DVDs. You can search by region, and it includes postage. There are some things you just can't get on Region 2, and its worth having a look if it isn't available here. Its not the only place I check, but its not a bad guide.

    Anyone got any more?
