Default AfriGadget - skills for the post apocalyptic bushcrafter

Thought I would share this site with you

    http://www.afrigadget.com/

"AfriGadget is a website dedicated to showcasing African ingenuity. A team of bloggers and readers contribute their pictures, videos and stories from around the continent. The stories of innovation are inspiring. It is a testament to Africans bending the little they have to their will, using creativity to overcome life’s challenges."

Basically a clever fusion of primitive and lo tech skills along with the 'repurposing' of everyday things to run businesses or make everyday life tasks more simple. The ingenuity is inspiring, especially in the face of the poverty some of these people face.

There are probably some skills here for the post apocalyptic bushcrafter...

An excellent site. A few months back I listened to William Kamkwamba tell his story on NPR. Truly inspiring.
