Myself and a few others have seen fieldfares recently, they are here in force now by the look of it. Fieldfare massive?

Sounds like someone in Siberia has stopped eating fieldfare then

Beautiful birds. We always leave a few apples on the trees or on the ground for them - they really seem to like that. I don't know if its the fruit or the insect larvae but they love them

So THATS what they are. I assumed they were thrushes with winter plumage- which show show much I don't know.

Very nice to look at they are.
